Feb. 5 shooting in Jupiter, is planned for Monday, Feb. 13 at The JupiterFIRST Church.Henry, Kelli J. Doherty, 20, of Tequesta, Brandi El-Salhy, 24, of Gainesville were killed in the shooting, which was reported at about 10:30 p.m. Feb. 5 at a home on the 1100 block of Mohawk Street in the Jupiter River Estates neighborhood, north of Toney Penna Drive and east of Maplewood Drive, in Jupiter.Read the latest news in the shootings in The Palm Beach Post.Those attending the Celebration off Life for Henry are asked to wear bright, vibrant colors instead of black because Sean was a bright and vibrant person.In lieu of flowers, those attending the funeral for Henry are asked to make donations in Sean’s name to The JupiterFIRST Church Youth Group Mission Fund. Bunny will also be missed by cousins, Patricia Wilks, her husband Max and their children Terry, John, Cathy and David of Milton, Florida; Lois Ryzckowski, her husband Joe and their children Ricky, Joey and Jamie of Trenton, New Jersey; Ruth Casey, her husband Brian and their children Danny, Andrew and Matthew of Milton, Florida; and sister-in-law, Susan Waite Fekete of Cape Coral, Florida and her children Bill Richards of Ladson, South Carolina and Kelly Carr of Point Pleasant, New Jerset; her sister-in-law, Adrianne Lucas of Tuxedo Park, New York and her son Richard Lucas, his wife Karen and their son Max of Carey, North Carolina; and all of their families.
Bunny was lovingly cared for by the many members of the staff at St. Andrews Village; the angels of Miles & St. Andrews Home Health & Hospice; and the compassionate companions volunteers of St. Andrews Village Gregory Wing.
A celebration of Bunny’s life will be held at St. Andrews Village on Saturday, April 23 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation by calling 203-229-0464 (or online at www.themmrf.org) or to the charity of your choice.

I got to thinking about Valentine's Day celebrations back in the 1970s. And while looking up some old photos, a flood of memories invaded my thinking space.
The first time I ever even heard the word "chateaubriand" was about 1975, I recall.
It was the featured "Valentines Evening dinner" at the old Juno Ranch – now Jupiter Reef.

Junior Vet Lab
The Children's Research Station at Loggerhead Marinelife Center – 14200 U.S. 1, Juno Beach – exercises science skills in children through an experiential lab every Wednesday and Friday at 3:30 p.m.,
And every Saturday at 11 a.m., 1 and 2 p.m. Junior Veterinary Lab accommodates up to 10 children in a 30-minute program, taking participants from sea turtle rescue to release.
The children come to the aid of a green sea turtle replica, and Dr. Logger teaches the group about common injuries and illnesses that affect these endangered animals.
No pre-registration is required, guests are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes early to register, as space is limited. This event is free and is geared toward ages 5 and up.

Jupiter Medical Center Carnival
In celebration of the grand opening of the Jupiter Medical Center and Nicklaus Children's Hospital De George Pediatric Unit, Jupiter Medical Center is hosting a carnival for the community on Saturday, Jan. 30 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
There will be games, a magic show, the South Florida Science Museum Interactive Exhibit, bounce house and slide, inflatable obstacle course, face painting, balloon sculpting, stilt walker, clown, food and drinks and giveaways.
Additionally, attendees will be able to tour the De George Pediatric Unit.
