We got the native plants from The Prairie Flower in Fostoria, just northwest of Spencer," Woverton said. "They have 300 acres of prairie plants, and it's worth the trip just to tour the grounds."

Herschel (Laura) Amburn of Clear Brook, Virginia, and Rene and Walter Amburn of Bellevue; and brothers- and sisters-in-law, Joe (Rheyma) Kelbley of Fostoria, Jerry Kelbley of Westerville and Jeff (Sandy) Kelbley of Westerville.
Peggy spent her childhood enjoying Lake Erie and Cedar Point. Prior to graduating from Milwaukee (Wisconsin) Downer Seminary, she attended Sandusky High School (class of 1958). Peggy and John met at Heidelberg College, Tiffin, where she graduated with a bachelor of science degree in biology in 1963. Peggy worked as a heart research technician at The Cleveland Clinic until she and John married June 13, 1964, in Saint Mary Church, Sandusky. They lived for two months in Mexico City before moving to Athens, where John completed graduate studies at Ohio University. During those two years, they served as resident directors of Berry Hall men's dormitory, and Peggy also worked as the university's central ticket agent.
August 1966, John accepted a faculty position with Ohio University-Zanesville. Peggy, in addition to being a full-time mother to three children, was an active contributor in her new community and among her many noteworthy civic activities and services was co-founder of OU-Z Faculty Wives' Committee, secretary and later president of the board of Zanesville Day Nursery, first secretary of women's board of the Pioneer and Historical Society of Muskingum County, and head of the first Zanesville-Muskingum Tourist Center under James Daley.
Peggy was an accomplished genealogist and great collector of Olympic pins, Hard Rock Cafe pins, Beanie Babies and Teddy bears all of which contributed to her many friendships across the country and the world. She loved to travel and plan trips for the family throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and Caribbean islands. Dec 30, 2015Nick Albertson, 85, died after celebrating Christmas with family
Union Carbide Corporation, retiring in 1993. Nick married the love of his life, Dorothy Clark, in 1949, and they raised three sons in Fostoria and Cleveland, Ohio, before moving to Westport, CT, in 1965. After the boys were grown Nick and Dorothy made their home in Redding, CT., until Dorothy’s untimely death as a result of lung cancer in 1992 and where Nick has lived ever since.
Nick was an active member of the Staples Booster Club while his sons attended Staples High School and he and Dorothy were very actively involved in the life of Emmanuel Episcopal Parish Church, Weston, for more than 50 years. Nick was an avid golfer and a long-time member of the Redding Country Club, and spent his retirement years faithfully attending his nine grandchildren’s music and dance recitals, athletic contests, and graduations
Nick is survived by his three sons, Nicholas W. and his wife Patricia of Miller’s Falls, MA., and his three daughters, Lindsey, Dana and Morgan, Thomas C. and his wife Kathleen of Redding, CT, and their three children, Grant, Amanda, and Nick, and James D. and his wife Manya of Branchville, NJ, and their three children, Manya, Bennett, and Regan, Manya and her husband Jon Timmons have two girls, Nick’s two great-grandchildren, Bronwyn and Rowan.
